Travel Protection/Insurance Waiver
Joyride Charters LLC, (“Joyride Charters”) strongly recommends the purchase of travel protection/insurance with additional “Cancel For Any Reason” coverage to protect you from the many issues that might prevent a travel supplier from completely providing their services to you (including the potential of financial default or bankruptcy). Such coverage should include Trip Cancellation or Interruption and Medical Expenses. Travel protection insurance plans can help protect you in the event of loss of NON-REFUNDABLE trip deposit and payments that result from cancellation or trip interruption (due to a covered reason such as injury or illness before or during the trip). It also helps with reimbursement for medical emergency costs.
Travel protection insurance is NOT included in your booking. While Joyride Charters can recommend travel insurance options for you to choose from, we are not liable for any issues that result from said insurance company or any other insurance company. In addition, we are not licensed insurance agents, and we recommend that you contact your insurance agent or broker to discuss the insurance policies and the available coverage. If you do not elect to purchase travel insurance/trip protection, you understand that you are responsible for all charges, costs, damages, losses and expenses, regardless of the reason.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be advised that you need to purchase the appropriate protection/insurance from your insurer within a certain number of days from the deposit being paid in order to avoid waiving any pre-existing medical condition(s). The timeframe is imposed by the travel insurance company and is typically seven (7) to fourteen (14) days.
