About Joyride Charters

Get to Know Us

Joyride Charters was founded in Connecticut in 2004 with a simple idea: sailing should feel freeing, personal, and unforgettable. What began on Long Island Sound has grown into curated sailing adventures around the world.

We design small-group, hands-on experiences that go far beyond a typical vacation. On Long Island Sound, that might mean a relaxed sunset sail, a confidence-building lesson at the helm, or a private day on the water with friends and family. Abroad, it means skippering beautiful catamarans through places like Greece, Croatia, the British Virgin Islands, and beyond—anchoring in historic harbors, swimming in clear blue water, and sharing meals that reflect the culture of each destination.

Whether you’re brand new to sailing or have thousands of miles under your belt, you’re welcome here. You can take the helm and learn, or simply unwind and let the rhythm of the sea do its work.

At its heart, Joyride Charters is about connection—connection to the water, to new places, and to the people you meet along the way. It’s adventure with intention. It’s travel done differently. And it’s always a little bit of joy.

Her dedication to safety and expertise, reflected in her USCG Master 100 ton license, American Red Cross First Aid and Infant/Child/Adult CPR, US tow and sail endorsement and Life Raft certification highlights her commitment to excellence on the water.
